June 2009: I have just received my results from the Universtiy of Hertfordshire and have been awarded a First Class Honours in Applied Arts.

The Society of Designer Crafts have also invited me to become a member of the society and have awarded me a Licentiate of Merit. This also means that I will be exhibiting at the Society's Winter Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London in January 2010.

January 2010: Following the display of my work at the Designer Crafts exhibition in London, the Council of the society have awarded me a Distinction Licentiateship.

DRUM (Disability Recreation Unity Movement) is a small registered charity based in Watford. DRUM provides day services and support for over 60 adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities and supports over 100 unpaid carers. -

I have recently been working with DRUM in Watford as their potter. Workshops take place on Monday mornings where we create a variety of work using various clays depending on the project. Recently we made small wall-tiles based around ideas of our identity. I encouraged participants to use ceramic decals as well as more traditional glazes. Most were unfamiliar with ceramic transfers but the results were quite contemporary and participants responded well to the challenge.
